I mean, wasn't it just logical that the master of a not-living-substance (metal) is the master of things that are technically dead? What about the theory that his armor is actually hollow, housing a powerful spirit? Or other possibilities?

But oh no, let's turn him into your typcial B-Class villain who is evil because, well, he's evil.

Dear Riot: Do you even know what "character complexity" means? Do you have absolutely no idea how to craft a GOOD villain? Because "Muh evil he so evil look he's undead, wow, much evil, such necromancy, so "dark will" "is not going to cut it.

If he is a spirit in a suit of armor, that would make the title "Lord of Death" fit even better, as he would be a dead thing already.

And also, Mordekaiser was always pretty much evil for the sake of being evil. Most of the champs from the Shadow Isles are

All this from a title change and a paragraph? I don't understand how these things indicate he's now a generic villain character. I get that the title could be way better considering they're eyeing to change it anyway, but how much character complexity are you really trying to discern from a paragraph and a title?

Not so interesting titles aren't exactly new around here. I do agree in this case it's a down-grade, but still when you consider titles like the above it's not like he was a massive cut above the rest by any real margin.
