There's really only one thing that I find disappointing about Sett (so far)

It's his lack of interactions.

I mean, yes he does have them but only for champs from a specific region. Nothing that's direct to any specific champs. It's just feels lackluster.

I mean he's a brawler champ that punches people. Why is there no interaction between him and or or . Why nothing against or since they're some of the biggest leaders in Ionia that he's trying to hide his business from? Or even since he's known to be an arena champ/entertainer?! Why nothing for him?

It just feels like they had to rush his lines/dialogue to get him out on time for this release craze Riot has been going through (First Senna, today Aphelios, and now soon Sett). It just feels like Riot didn't want to put in the effort of making more specific interactions for him and to me that comes off as lazy and rushed. Considering how far Riot has come and what they've given to us in more recent years, I'm really disappointed in them.

Well he's supposed to be like a fighter, I don't think he really cares to know people or know of people. He just wants a good fight.

Only one thing? For me there are far more points dissapointing.

very human looking
look in general
kit looks okay, ability colours are ofc goldish again
fights only with fits
no boxer or dunkmaster or warrigkingdoms release skin

Frankly, he looks a tad unfinished to me. I mean usually new champs (or VGUs) look amazing, lately, even in their base skin, but this one is kinda underwhelming. The gold parts look really dull. I'm not keen on him having the exact same color theme as Xayah and Rakan either. I'd like to think you could do much more with the Vestayah-half best theme. Sett doesn't really have anything beastly about him. He might as well just be human. It's a shame, really.

the thing really do not like is his haircut though. He looks like a beefy Ezreal. :(

Honestly would be funny some interactions with him flirting with ionian girls, or just at least acknoweldge there exists more champions than "noxian champion" and "vastaya champion" without even having a single one for a particular champion, but again, Riot can't release 2 champions a month and get a lot of voice lines for them.

Oh well, i don't think it's so much a Sett thing, but rather that RioT is generally cutting on interactions entirely lately. It's sufficient to make a fast trip to youtube to see that champs like Urgot and Swain got something like 18 minutes of interactions, while practically no new champ has more than 12. Sett (11 minutes) already has more than Qiyana (7:30 minutes!).

To make things worse, the skinspotlights video of Sett includes as "interactions" the standard attack lines which, well, are not really interactions at all. I don't know if that has always been a thing (having an interaction when you attack, say, a Noxian champ, is a thing, having a random line when you attack ANY target is, well, another).

my biggest disappointment is he got a "Mecha" skin first before getting a lucha libre skin or Dunk master skin first like....why tho... but i guess maybe its because i hate "Mecha" anything that i find his first skin disappointing. Also like someone has said already he looks too human i wish his ears where more played out since ive really wanted another hot animal ear champion also he needs more fur i mean...his vo has him say hes "Too furry for humans, too smooth for Vastyian" but i see no fur AT ALL besides his outfit for gods sakes at least make his arms and legs look like tiger legs/arms and give him real claws.

I thought that was odd too.

I don't really think its an issue of rushing it though; for one I believe Senna was pushed back a bit to coincide with other events. Probably ended up squishing everyone to the end of the year (or beginning of next year in Sett's case). For another, they already have the VA in the recording booth. There's not really any reason to "rush them out", I doubt it actually makes the process go faster. So its just a matter of they decided not to write as many interactions for him.

Trust me, I don't like it. Interactions are some of my favorite parts of a character. I love varied VOs. But I don't think they are rushing, scheduling is just a little weird. Remember, this PBE patch that Sett is on is a bit longer and won't be out until next year.

i know but if riot wants to release a champion each month for some reasons they can't really afford to pay much on voice actors, you have to understand unasked champions coming completly random is a hard task for an indie company like Riot Game or Riot Forge whatever they call themselves now.

You know, with interactions with Vi...maybe it's just me, but I can't imagine him being allowed to ssay anything aggressive. Like, "Let's see how fast I can punch YOU through the roof".

IDK. I'm not going to say he's a narcissist, but he seems to mostly care about how badly he can whoop someone's ass. Maybe he'll ask Vi if she wants to do a mixed tag team together.
