he has a scythe, is very morbid in all his emotions including sarcasm and joy and i think its safe to assume he is practically death

but Kindred is also considered death as well...

Kindred are the manifestation of Death, people arround Runeterra venerate them as such and call them by many names. They harvest souls and hunt those who run of death. Also, they are omnipresent beings.

In other hand, Rhaast is a random dude that sees himself as Death because he has killed some people.

Considering Rhaast isn't an godly omnipresent being, i'm pretty sure you can figure out which one fits death more.

Rhaast's purpose as a Darkin is to spread chaos and mayhem through death, however Kindred is the one that reaps the souls of those that die, without actually killing them since Kindred is almost a metaphorical being. So Rhaast is the darkin of death, but he isn't death.

The horseman Death and the Angel of Death (Grim Reaper) are 2 different characters, in this case Kindred Kindred is the angel of death and Kayne is the horseman Death
