Is Jhin from Ionia?

His mask make me remember of Noh threatre masks.

In fact, his mask looks like one of the masks used on Bloodmoon skins, in particular Bloodmoon Kalista.

I wouldn't be surprised that even if Jhin is not from Ionia, that his release skin was Ionian themed.

I got the Ionian feel from it as well.

And let's not forget about the whole "nature" vibe that his gun had. Burning roses, the tree growing out of someone, etc. Ionia is a spiritual place, filled with flowers and just nature in general. I like your idea, you may be onto something! :)

The mask automatically makes me think of gothic imagery, which then immediately makes me think of Demacia and Noxus, being the more traditionally medieval themed nations of Runeterra. Could be wrong, but I'm sticking with it for now.

While the mask looks a bit ionian, there is the fact that he is usng a gun, which simply doesn't fit ionia that well. The gun would fit more to piltover, zaun or bilgewater and I'd say that Jhins mask wouldn't really fit zaun or bilgewater,so I think he is from piltover.

I say this guy has been traveling the world in order to perfect his art.

Piltover tech. Demacian garb. Ionian mask
