Wasn't it stated that the baron on sunmoners rift ISN'T the real baron nashor, but a creation by the institute? Idk if that still applies. But if he fought the true one, that could be what did it, and he had to run away/ enter the real world to escape it

Yeah, that also ties into the theory that Jax is the Real Baron, as the Real Baron dissapeared a little before Jax joined, also apparently in power scale the created Nashor is like paper mache to the Real one, who is supposedly still out there.

Taliyah has a quote against Baron :"As before, we will stand against you.", maybe Baron used to terrorize the people of Shurima thousands of years ago and they had to unite against him to get him away of their territory. He has to have popped from the Void somewhere and usually it's Icathia/Shurima.

This is probably hinting at Baron being part of the last Void incursion that happened in Icathia where the former holder of Sivir's blade died.

According to Nasus she died because she got too cocky and believed herself to be invincible due to a prophecy. I'm more inclined to think something other than Baron got her, though. I suspect if Baron had eaten her, there wouldn't have been enough left to bury.

Well, she could've gotten cocky and tried to fight the giant VOID WORM and in doing so probably got impaled or spit on, but still left him a nasty scar.

I don't think he would've eaten her given the fact that she, if she actually did scar him, wounded him pretty badly.

Welp, after you beat it over and over again and it keeps spawning ofc it gets a scar sooner or later :P

Jokes aside, i think the scar is just that - a gameplay-esque symbol to signify that it gets defeated over and over again without being really killed.

Olaf. In his lore he tried to die in battle only to survive multiple times, could've fought nashor.

Remember this powerful Voidbeing from Aurelion Sol's story? Since the big bad Baron Nashor is a voidborn without the ability to speak, so a beast, it might've thought it could attack the Lord of the Void, following instincts. Thus the Lord slapped Baron really hard and exiled it to the mortal plane, Runeterra. This is just a theory.
