Interpretation and Meaning of “Phoenix”

OK my good friend broke the video down like this, and maybe everybody has already interpreted this and I’m just slow, but here is what he thinks the video is really about. “The reason it is mid laners and the champions that they chose for those mid laners is because when you look back at crucial games that knock them out of the world's those players performed very poorly on those champions and so it's highlighting how they are overcoming the champions that brought them down to bring them back to redemption, knowing this makes the video and song a lot better for me, it would have been cool to include highlights of them getting beat on these champions”
