With Galio on their side, could Demacia ever realistically lose a battle?
Judging by his splash art, the dude's at least twelve stories tall. He's constructed of essentially concrete mixed with the anti-magic ash, so (assuming he's not hollow) he weighs much, much more than your typical tall building.
Hell, the winds caused by a simple flap of his wings would probably blow an entire army away (and likely kill them all from the force of the gust/landing afterwards). I wouldnt be surprised if his ult would cause a global extinction event from the debris sent into the atmosphere blocking the sun. And even if he's not THAT big, galio ult should still level entire cities.
To top it off, the one plot device that could potentially defeat such a behemoth does nothing, since Galio conviently happens to be immune to magic.
So can we say that the only way Galio doesnt autowin every battle (assuming there's magic to awaken him) is through intervention from divine beings like Sol, Kindred, or Bard?
- "Hah! Ours would be a fight for the ages! They'd find pieces of us for miles around!"
