With Galio on their side, could Demacia ever realistically lose a battle?

Judging by his splash art, the dude's at least twelve stories tall. He's constructed of essentially concrete mixed with the anti-magic ash, so (assuming he's not hollow) he weighs much, much more than your typical tall building.

Hell, the winds caused by a simple flap of his wings would probably blow an entire army away (and likely kill them all from the force of the gust/landing afterwards). I wouldnt be surprised if his ult would cause a global extinction event from the debris sent into the atmosphere blocking the sun. And even if he's not THAT big, galio ult should still level entire cities.

To top it off, the one plot device that could potentially defeat such a behemoth does nothing, since Galio conviently happens to be immune to magic.

So can we say that the only way Galio doesnt autowin every battle (assuming there's magic to awaken him) is through intervention from divine beings like Sol, Kindred, or Bard?

Sion can hold his own against Galio. Even Galio himself comments on this.

Galio - "Hah! Ours would be a fight for the ages! They'd find pieces of us for miles around!"

You know how chem bombs were used in Ionia?

I'm sure anti magic stone does jack shit against chemical warfare.

Keep in mind:

  1. He needs a LOT of magic to be used in his immediate vicinity before he can move
  2. As big as he is, he's not the biggest thing on Runeterra, nor the strongest
  3. Galio is not a strategist. He charges at things and punches them hard.

The best way to handle Galio would be to engage Demacia in conventional non-magical warfare, bring something bigger than him, or outsmart him.

Well yes; Galio only comes in to play if there's magic about.

Yeah, people just out-physical them, which Noxus could most likely do if they got a lot of Darius' over there. Also, Malphite is a living mountain. He could fight Galio.

Immune to magic doesn't mean immune to things influenced by magic.

Make a concrete saw out of the Shurima Sun Disk, spin it with magic, shoot it with magic, and presto! You've got a Galio killing weapon.

Malphite could easily 1v1 Galio. In terms of regular armies like Noxus, there is a possibility that they developed artillery to destroy him. Imagine them bombarding him with canons from all around, of course this would have to be done as a sneak attack, otherwise he could just squish them
