I sure hope the new WW looks quite different from how he looks now.... but then one wonders why would they update his splash arts before his remodel.

Just let's say: its a full Sion/Poppy level relaunch. It has zero sense to "mini-update" the "new" splashes if he is going to be entirely different. Marauder might be an exception because it's shared, but even with that, it will probably change a lot (only Warwick, not Ashe).

Judging by the new teaser, they will actually just make changes to his old splash art.

Most of them yeah, were for other regions, but not the Classic and Tundra Hunter Warwick. They were done entirely new. Like the Fiddle and Darius classic ones.

So that's going to be scrapped now in lieu of his rework. Someone should have thought that through before going through all that effort to make that splash.

Those were just temporary improvements till they finish the VGU, they said it multiple times when they started rolling in new splash arts for many champs.
