I understand that a champion's popularity is a huge factor in how many skins it gets, but this is just ridiculous. You could do so much with him. There's so much potential to make a quality skin here.

Sad part is, if they release something like Dark Star Xerath and it turns out to be amazing, people would still say something like "Why Xerath?". This is exactly why we get 25 Lux/Ahri/Akali/Jinx/Ezreal/Miss Fortune skins each year. Then when we get those, people still complain about that. It's like a cycle of confusion and people don't know what they want but they still open their wallets.

Wait for them to create dunk master xerath then say no one bought it so we aren't making a skin for him in the next 5 years.

For all his "potential to make a quality skin," the ones he has are mostly recolors, with very little additional anything else, like Taric's old skins. We have base blue Taric and base blue Xerath, pink Taric and pink Xerath, green Taric and green Xerath, then Riot changed it up with red Taric and orange Xerath. At least now we have Pool Party Taric, which is more than just an expensive chroma. Guardian of the Sands Xerath is... okay? I'm not really sure. My point is that Xerath seems like he could have cool skins, but the reality is that Riot doesn't do that.

What skin can Xerath receive that isn't just a chroma or a legendary? Most of his skins are kinda bland because of how bland his design is.

The only ones complaining is the vocal minority.

Why should any of these players have to say “thanks riot” on social media when they can silently do that by spending money on the new skins for the popular champions?

Riot have the stats, they know that the people bitching about those skins are hugely out numbered by us that will get the skins.

What kind of skin do people really expect for him though? There have been the ones like Dark Star which honestly won't happen as he already is a celestial style being. Those skins (along with cosmic) are meant to reimagine characters as that.

The other skins he already has are pretty much just recolors giving him a different lightening, then GOTS actually has some decent effects making him Sandy. But aside from that what can really be done with his design?
