I think there can be more to Galio's lore since it ends off on the same old lores where "Galio joins League of Legends and every thing was happy ever after that, the end." It mentions where Galio's mage master that he was to protect was executed by Noxian assassins, we can update this and could easily tie in Talon was a leader to execute this mage. Then it says there was a small yordle girl with a Demacian flag which ends up motivating Galio out of his depressed state to be a protector again; the small yordle girl with a Demacian flag seems like we could tie in Poppy here since she is suppose to be a yordle [Poppy rework soon^TM].

Overall Galio's lore just seems slightly rushed and seems like it can be going for another paragraph or something since it leaves off on a very empty note.

Poppy IS the yordle girl from his lore, the demacian crown is the helm crafted be Blomgrun. They are even friends in the website
