With the new Star Guardian batch and the new mode, their stupidly cute pets become a bit more prominent. Every new Guardian has a pet, and then Lulu, Janna, and Jinx have pets. However, Poppy and Lux are notably without a pet, which means they don't particularly fit in with the 8 other members. Will they be retroactively getting cute pets to correct this and keep them consistent?
Poppy's got her hammer. Sure, it's a hammer, not a pet, but Poppy's hammer has always been weirdly special.
Also: there's gotta be a reason that A) Lux is so special in the skin lore, and B) Jinx has two pets when she's the "newest addition" to the team. Just sayin' ;)
I feel like Lux didn't get the traditional introduction to being a Guardian which is why she doesn't have a pet.
And I can imagine that, with Poppy, she's...too serious. I mean, by my understanding of her SG persona, she would either have a special connection with her familiar she presents to NOBODY else, or she'll treat them with the same apathy she gives to others. Poppy show's anger, disgust, and overall annoyance over most things that goes against the duty of the SG and whatnot. This is in stark contrast to Lulu who is VERY free-spirited and outgoing.
Poppy having a familiar probably doesn't do much for her on a personal level but provide company (which she doesn't need if she has to do things herself. She IS the "get it done" SG)
