@Riot, what is Bard's Mask?

It has fascinated me since his release. It's on literally everything in his Kit, and it's not mentioned a single time in the lore.

It's probably a symbol that has something to do with cosmic balance. My guess is the 3 dots represent the 3 components of balance, all of which must be maintained for there to be 'true' balance in the cosmos.

I suppose the 3 could be things like: a) the general state of the world (ordered, neutral, chaotic) b) the inhabitants (population size, birth/death rates, affects on environment, interactions with each other) c) sources of magic (artifacts, creatures, places)

We also see the rule of 3 in the ninja triumvirate - Akali, Kennen, Shen. I'm fairly certain they are meant to be keepers/guardians of balance, with each representing one particular aspect; Akali for magic, Kennen for the elements and nature, Shen for life and death.

Given that Ionia is a pretty spiritual place, I wouldn't be surprised if the ninja triumvirate was initially founded with Bard's symbol in mind.

I imagine a little ball of light behind his mask and under his mane. Like what he throws for his Q. He's an ethereal being.

I think it was said in the ama,that Bards form that we see is just the form he takes so that we can see him and not his actual form. The mask might be a tool to keep his form from collapsing/keeping the glowy stuff inside this form.

I am fairly sure it is just a simbol, he doesnt have an actual face.

There are a lot of things not mentioned in the lore.

I wouldn't say it's not in the lore, because it's his constellation.
