Stoooooooooooop saying VARUS IS "GAY" Stop complaining that he is "gay"

Varus is a being that was created by 2 people fusing together with a darkin. The two characters that fused with him were gay together but that doesn't make Varus gay. Varus seems to be fueled by one desire and that is vengeance. he is a being that is most likely asexual having no sexual desire. I dont think its fair to call him gay or be complaining that riot had to make a gay character to meet some social requirement. No I think the story was beautiful and the two characters that are gay in this story are part of how he was created and his past and they went into making him, but overall the creature that came out is one that is fueled by one thing. Maybe somewhere there is a conscious and it is those two characters fighting to break free but i dont think their sexual desire is going to bleed through in varus' personality.

I don't think I've actually seen anyone complain about Varus being "gay".

The majority of the complaints I've seen were about Riot discarding his old lore almost entirely.

If they wanted to have a champion be LGBT, they had many options available who didn't have the loss of their wife and child as an important part of their backstory.

Rather than retconning an existing character, they'd have been better off either creating a new character or picking another champion who may have been a better fit or required fewer changes.
