Riot, Can we PLEASE get some information on what's going on with Singed and Twitch.

For god's sake, you think the 'being left in the dark about things' issue would've been addressed by now. All I want to know is what's going on. Were they put on the backburner due to time constraints? Can we be TOLD about that instead of just thinking you guys forgot? Zaun's been lore-starved for ages, it finally gets worthy attention and then this happens. Come on, guys.

It's been months. I get that the deadline was hard to make, and I get that you might want to redo what they were, but it's been FAR too long while the lore team's been pumping out stuff for other cities and Vastaya.

Demacia, also were missing champions, and future events may miss some characters as well. The fact that they updated these regions isn't proof that they could have updated Singed and Twitch. They did not want to, because they want to do it correct, Singed is supposed to be the closest thing to the 'Zaun represent' or at least the main plot driving character of all the characters in Zaun if they mess him up, they effectively mess up all of Zaun. We do know that he is experimenting with immortality, he is over 100 years old and he his researching some latent human genetics (Warwick), but what else? Is he a chembaron, is he morally grey or is he a morally black person, villainous to the core? Does he value Zaun the way other zaunites do? Why was he apart of the Noxian invasion aside from testing his weapons, he could have easily done so in Zaun and the Pilties wouldn't care. What bargain did Noxus make with Singed or does he really not care about these things, and it was all just to test the weapons after all. These are the questions the Rioters need to answer and if they answer them wrong a flood of people will call them out. Same problem with Twitch, if they were JUST going to keep him a rat that grew from chemical exposure we would have gotten his lore long ago. There has to be more, where did he get exposed, in a lab or in the sewers? If a lab, then he is one of a kind... But who were his creators what were they testing on him? Is there more? If a sewer them are there more, is there an army if chem-rats below Zaun? What are they planning if so? If you are really invested in their lore at least try to theorize a little...

Then we really should not be leaving characters behind. That's a terrible thing to do regardless of schedule; it just ends up leaving people looking at empty spaces that look...lazy. And clearly they aren't lazy.

If it was time constraints, then these things should be given time, not skipped over and left for god-knows-when while we're left wondering where these things went. You know; like what happens all the time with Riot.

And don't tell me to theorize when that's all we COULD do in the past for ages. I already have many theories about all of the Zaunites, but something official is what I crave.

Twitch is not even a character that needs to be done 'perfectly'. He's easy. His new self is literally a Skaven 'king'. That's the LEAST difficult of any of the Zaunites as far as I can think of; what matters is that they throw detail in, yes, but clearly they just didn't have time. I understand that.

There are still too many large holes that need fix. Currently there are still 5 major faction that are still unclear that needs to be fixed. It's unfair to leave fan of these faction waiting longer to patched up a few minor ones. I bet Riot are already working on another update already and they are very bussy due to their relatively small lore team

Well the other option would be to take the time from others.

If they always updated the whole roster of a faction,then they would have needed to skip the Demacia event entirely as they would have updated Heimerdinger Ziggs Twitch Singed for the piltover/Zaun event and there would have been no way for them to update all the demacian champs in time.

In this respect I understand you, as I am desperately waiting on a Pantheon VGU so that we can learn more about the essence of war, about Targon about the new Pantheon's relationship with Aurelion Sol. But we have no power over when we will get this. (I was waiting to see the reappearance of character in a manga and I read the chapter to find out she died off screen, feelsbadman) Imo these characters are going to be used as plot devices to return to these regions. Unfortunately since Singed didn't get his story this trip he Riot may be waiting until his rework.

Tbh Idk what I can say, because we see the situation fundamentally from different perspective, imo I think that they are planning bigger things for the champions that were excluded. Then again you are probably more invested into these champions than I am.

no, they didn't update Singed and Twitch's lores because they simply did not have the time to do it

Then this is something out of their control and they can't really be held accountable for not doing their lores if this is the case.

They have told us what happened with Twitch and Singed. I feel the same pain as you because Twitch is one of my favorite champions. The main reason was that they was not sure how to aproach Singed and Twitch and they had little time to figure that out so they skipped them for this Zaun event. They can not do every champion in a region at the same time when it is so many champions. For example they did not do Corki in the Piltover event and they did not do Xin Zhou in the Demacia update.

We will probably get some Singed lore when he gets a VGU somewhere in the future (he will need one eventually) or if we get a new Zaun champion they would update boths lore.

Long story short, Riot did not have enough time to do them in the Zaun update but will update them somewhere in the future in a Zaun miniupdate

Once they're done updating the majority of champs from each region I'm sure they'll go back and update all the ones they skipped. Though I'm not sure why they skipped Singed with how important he seems to be. Another possibility, while maybe not likely, is that they could update him along side Urgot's rework, cause I'm pretty sure it will be Singed who makes his new body/augments him.
