Surely Sivir's reputation should be as a backstabber?

I mean, she stages a coup on her former mentor and mother-figure just so she could get a bigger cut.

She betrayed the Lord of Nashramae and killed all his men because she decided she liked the trinket she looted more than the money he paid her to get it.

Sure, her skills might be renowned... but those are skills of a thief and warrior. I feel like her old quote, "Coin may buy you skill for a day, but never loyalty", is far more accurate of her MO. Her price is not only exorbitant, but comes with a waiver that she might just keep your money and your trinkets. How exactly does she find work with that reputation?

As much as i like Sivir 's character, this is deliciously ironic considering she got backstabbed herself

I mean, she's a mercenary that's kind of what mercenaries do. They go for the biggest prize. Most of the time that's the payer, other times it's the objective.

I think that the one time where she stole the crossblade was likely the only time where she went against the contract. And even then she might have been all like "well your guards died to the traps,so I saw the contract as cancelled".

I mean that lore quote pretty much directly contradicted an in-game quote of her's at least at face value. Sivir: Loyalty isn't earned. It's bought.
