Riot, Inspiration for Camille? (For us who don't do Reddit when you decided to do the QA there)

I know you guys called her assassin Mary Poppins or something of that sort, but I wanted know if Bayonetta was any inspiration for her? They share a vast amount of similarities, from the British accent, the aristocratic arrogance, the way they both mock and chide others, both of them being incredibly old and kept young by their craft, even down to the unique integration of weaponry onto their legs. I'd like to know if she was an inspiration for Camille because I love them both and it would be a super big cherry on top of an already great cake.

Nah she is just Cheif Beifong. Also Taliyah is Toph. They just taking Avatar characters haha

Taliyah is not Toph. The two have very little in common other than the fact that they're geomancers. Taliyah is a youth with an unknown, untrained power on a journey to learn her strengths and harness her power. Toph is self taught and resilient, and a gifted prodigy, confident and sure of herself despite her physical setbacks. They are nothing alike. Meanwhile, I'm not familiar with the new Avatar, so I can't speak for it. From what I read, I see the similarities between Camille and Lin, but their motivations differ entirely, as well as the fact that Camille doesn't use any kind of geomancy or magic and relies on her strength and agility.

Lin & Cami both have similar faces/hair, as well as they're both blatant bitches who use those hook things - but other than that the connection isn't there. Even the hook things are different and are used differently as you mentioned physical vs geomancer powers.

I can't see Lin ever wanting to become a cyborg, shit, she didn't even approve of the city made of metal. The people going Lin = Cami are the same people who would look at a bear after looking at a dog and go "They're both fuzzy, kinda loud, and on four legs, they must be the same."

I don't think they mentioned Bayonetta. But they were pretty vague about the inspirations. The main one was Beifong and the girl for Kingsman, but with a lot of other materials, to create something unique.

I don't really get the Bayonetta vibe from her, but it could be.

Camille has the weapons in Attack on Titan, the hair/face of Lin Beifong from the Avatar cartoon series and blade-like legs similar to Gazelle from Kingsman: The Secret Service
