Does anyone else find the new take on Bandle City a bit strange?

Based on the description of Bandle City on the Universe page, Yordles seem to basically be like fey in European folklore, living in sort of a different dimension where everything is magical and wonderful etc.

However, does anyone else find this strange in context to the actual yordle champions?

Only three yordle champion actually seem to have innate magic (Kennen, Lulu and Veigar). Poppy seem to have some magical properties, but that's probably from her hammer (that is Demacian in origin anyways). Gnar also has his rage-gene, but that seems to be an anomaly (even amongst primitive yordles).

Then there's Teemo who just uses stealth and venoms, and the rest seem to preffer tech and gunpowder.

It's just strange that for a supposedly magical race, the majority seem to greatly preffer science.
