Cassiopeia really could use more love when it comes to visuals and lore.
Meddler commented yesterday on how the Mage Update will merely focus on gameplay and not on visual changes.
That's a great pity, considering how outdated champions like Vladimir and Cassiopeia are when it comes to their assets. Talking about Cassiopeia, the only last change she received was back in 2014 during the Shurima event when her textures and voice-over were replaced, to this very day however she's still stuck with animations, models and ability icons from 2010. That's six years, a pretty long time.
Then there's the issue of her not receiving any skins in over 3 years now, also her lore could use some elaboration aswell. Her entire origin story was reduced to 3-4 lines of text, and that's it. There isn't even a confirmation that she's still related to Katarina or anyone else at this point, she has no identity anymore.
It'd be a great shame to simply neglect these aspects about this champion when you're finally going to take a look at her, even if it's merely limited to her gameplay. Why not take the opportunity and finally give her the VU she deserves?
