but the sad mummy was just labeled as a desert (yordle) inhabitant that died sometime ago. He even has a pharaoh skin...
My question is... is he from the same kingdom as the 4 former, or did he have his own Shuriman paradise long ago? And did he get betrayed similar to how Xerath betrayed Azir? [Explaining his curse of constant sadness]
No one knows. He's one of the oldest champions from Shurima considering legends of him predate Nasus and Renekton, but as to where he comes from and what his actual deal is, no one remembers it, not even Amumu.
One should not ask of the sad mummy's origins, for nothing good can come from such tragedy. Instead one should wonder where he is going.
Well his lore gives us 3 different possible backstories,but one thing that they all have in common is that they all depict him as a past emporer of shurima,so I think it is likely that this is indeed true.
