Could Tahm have his ways with...

I'm not saying anything here, but assuming, Bard isn't a or the God, but rather a deity -- In religious belief, a deity is either a natural or supernatural being, who is thought of as holy, divine, or sacred. -- Let's say he isn't omnipresent nor all-knowing, holy or divine!

Imagine that he's from a kind that has existed for billions of years, compared to humans who exist a few millions (6~from what I read), we couldn't even imagine what would be like at that point of existence. The gap makes them not relate to us that easily, like we see ants eating a larva and ignore it. His kind might see Runeterrians as under-development and choose not to triffle with us. We can't say though they've all enlightened, meaning they moved passed personal egoical gains and personal aspirations.

Just how Bard is seen by (Ionians?) as a Watcher, so are the Guardians of The Galaxy which took care of an Infinity Stone, yet in that movie they're not divinal, they're just people, who could be corrupted.

Bringing me to my point,

Could Bard be corrupted by Tahm? Could Bard aspire for personal gain? Supposing Bard has desires, and Tahm could whisper into his ears... Tahm has existed before mankind in other forms afterall... And he can be at where any man is because there is an ocean of darkness in every man's soul). @Riot, are the Watchers exempt from this darkness?

I'd love to see a Dark / Corrupted Bard skin.

I made a thread about how Bard seems to be inspired alot by the Precursors in the Jak and Daxter series.

TL;DR of it being, Chimes = Precursor orbs (both being collectibles that float above the ground for the player to grab) Heal shrine = Green Echo (both heal the player and have the same design) His color scheme. His role as a guardian = Precursors were an advanced species who were also guardians.

And in the series, the 'Echo' we most heard about was Dark Echo, from the Dark Makers, guess what? Corrupted Precursors.

I really think Bard would fit into the whole having a dark side thingy. And Tahm would be the perfect explanation for it.

EDIT: It kinda of shakes off the warmth feeling of security that a powerful being has, imagining he could be corrupted.

Probably can be corrupted, how much powerful you're, easier to get corrupted. Bard doesn't have connect with humans or other evil things, I think that's why he still didn't get corrupted. Think it like it's Gandalf's status, he always was afraid of ring because of he could get corrupted by it.

Honestly you don't have to assume that Bard isn't an omnipresent/all-knowing god,you can know that. Riot stated that Bard can be destroyed, that he isn't all powerful and if he was all-knowing then he wouldn't have had to wait for the egg to be used to know its location.

Now to your point: I think Bard could be corrupted, but it is extremely difficult to do so. Bard has seen a lot and is probably wise beyond our understanding,he probably knows the dangers of getting help from Tahm Kench and would probably avoid it if possible. Not to mention that Bards "traveling"-power is quite good,so it is questionable if there are places where he would need the help of TK to reach.

Bard can't be 'corrupted'. He is of orange and blue morality. He simply does not think or reason in a manner that can be comprehended by humans as good or evil, and neither does he have 'dark desires deep down in his soul' because the concept of darkness is probably foreign to him.

He could commit an act out genocide out of curiosity or boredom and still would not be 'evil' or 'dark' for his existence and consciousness does not align itself in such ways. It's like talking about the dark secret desires of a deer to eat grass, it does not even consider that the grass is living and being killed by it's actions as it's way of thinking does not even deal with such things. I imagine bard is more intelligent than a deer, but it is an alien kind of intelligence closer to vel'koz then a humans.

I think you all kinda forget that tahm is a monster, he's not close to the level of Aatrox and Kindred which are .. well Ideas really, Tahm is not some kind of Greed god that will always survive as long s greed is a part of reality. he's just a monster, Bard would not even hear him, it's like you trying to understand a bug.. Tahm is a weakling, why is this thread even here???

Which is better: The memory of childhood innocence fading, or the sound of dogs barking on a hot day?

They're not really comparable, and we don't have enough information to render a judgment either way.
