Previous Janna Splash vs New Janna Splash

Personally I loved Janna's previous splash art and I think it is a lot better than the new one. Why Rito, why you change Janna? =,(

What you guys think? Which splash you like better?

EDIT: It appears as those the majourity vote is that people like the previous splash art a lot more than the new current one.

I like the new one a lot, because she looks more elfish and androgynous. In her older splash art, she looks more like a generic elf bimbo, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I don't really enjoy it. Her makeup is heavy imo, and her ingame model is way too tan, and I don't think that collides well with the '' avatar of air '' theme around her.

She doesn't look anything like her ingame model though in her new splash.

Like her old one better. Never had the impression that Janna was an elf nor should she be one. Didn't think that LoL had elves. Would this make Janna (from the new splash) the last one?

Too tan? She doesn't look tan at all. She comes across as white (Caucasian) without a tan. Perhaps it is just your monitor/graphics card.

The lighting on her face is about the same on both splashes, though the new one has hair coming down over her forehead.

If by an emotionless doll, you mean androgynous, then yes - this new splash accomplishes that. She looks as if she cares about nothing when fighting.

This new splash is a huge downgrade.

She has elf-like ears. Whether she is an elf is not important. Her lore mentiones her otherwordly look, and the new splash represents that way better.

When I say bimbo, I didn't mean anything about the clothing. It's only natural for her to, I believe, have such clothing she has. It goes well with her air-theme. But what I do not enjoy is her, well, makeup. It looks messy. That's what makes her look like a bit of a bimbo. Especially her lips, they look way too dark. Her new glowey eyes also make her look really cool and pretty, really enhancing her otherwordly look. She looks more defined, less messy.

Her ingame model looks too tan to me. Her splash is fine. I think she looks great with really light skin.

So just because she isn't CLEARLY expressing an emotion, she is an emotionless doll? Does '' calm before the storm '' mean anything to you? She looks like she is one with the wind, not '' riding '' the wind.

This is my opinion on the matter.

I like the old on better. There's more detail in her hair and face and dress. plus, Janna's supposed to be beautiful and ethereal, now she just looks unhuman.

I kind of find myself preferring the old one.

The new one is great and all but I feels like there's something off about her face, maybe its the contours, I don't know.

because janna is in her 20s and the new splash is like late 30s and early 40s - they really aged her in the splash, plus it doesnt have a janna esq flare to it, the only one does - janna always felt like a playful champion, the new splash does not reflect this

The new one is bad, manly looks one to me -.-" I don't see why was the change rely necessarry ( same problame I say at Ezreal ) Ezreal , please change it back to the last one Janna ( I don't even see the reson to change tham, the quality, the resolution were good ), or at least change on this one somthing that maks her appearantion makes her again a mature woman elf and not somkind of pointy jaw, flat breasts, half man top part kreature... ( I wanna cry much if I thinking about this one... ) item 3070 __

Personally I like both of them for different reasons. I love the styles they used in both of them, though I do feel the new one fits more towards the game now as it's the art style they are going with for all the updates. The old one though, I still love the overall look that she has in it.

So they both have good things about them, but overtime the old one unfortunately is showing it's age when compared to other recently updated splashes.

I'd still prefer KNKL's Janna's art splash work. it greatly defines her charming character.

and sure I heard alot of people complain this and that, not long ago I saw many AHRI fans complain about her recent new splash Artwork and they change it accordingly.
