How long will the retcon take?

At the same time that we're talking about the new sparkly Shadow Isles, Bilgewater and the like, we still have champion backgrounds referencing the League.

Well how long is the community going to have to wait before this world is actually consistent with itself? We have champs like Yorick going completely ignored in relevant story updates, then champs like Fiddlesticks and Jax who are left in a complete void without the context of the League. We have champs like Teemo who do have context without the League but aren't looking very Legendary among a cast of people (or things) who actually matter.

There is a Rift alright and it's sheered straight down the world and story of this game. I don't look forward to the years it will take to fix Yorick, and I don't appreciate the complete radio silence on projects like Fiddlesticks and Jax, who should have been much higher priority than people like Fiora, Garen, etc.

And now with Mt. Targon on the horizon, yet more attention given to places we already know something about, while the giant gaping hole of the League and the champions it left stranded are ignored forever. GG
