On the PBE today, apparently Hyena Warwick's texture accidentally got overwritten with a new Warwick texture that doesn't look like any of his other skins. Is this perhaps something related to his rework? It looks very Zaunian or Hextech to me, the gold claws and bits of armor remind me of Hextech skins and the green parts remind me of Singed. So can we get some dirt on this boo boo since the dog's been let out?
The likelihood is that it's a very early texture from his rework, considering that he's not eligible for skins since he's in line for a rework.
Warwick is from Zaun so it makes sense. Base ww gonna be like the new splash from a glance at this. So excited \(^.^)/ It's more than likely just a case of accidentally getting pushed to pbe. Unless they just wanted to show any sceptics that WW rework was actually moving along. Sneaky Rito.
Upon study, this could be Gray Warwick, who I think is a recruitment based reward. Either way, it's different enough to raise eyebrows.

So this odd texture might be an experimentation/concept of his new model, since he's in Pre-Production currently (And that is a thing that is being iterated upon a lot during this development phase).

It's not here, but remember that champion development is a process of iteration done months (or sometimes, very rarely, even years) ahead, so they experiment with a lot of stuff internally before locking down the final version. :P
It looks like his base or gray skin with updated textures. His gray skin is particularly ugly right now, so I hope it's some updated textures that we can look forward to with the champ update.
Warwick has a VU/rework coming up, and he was an assistant of Singed in the lore, so maybe he will have some of his "transformation elixir" in his model/new kit.
These are new textures, for a new model, that were leaked early, and don't work on his old model.
