And is still not story relevant... how?

Riot keeps saying "we've got plans don't worry" but the opportunities are slipping by.

Kindred apparently really really hates the Shadow Isles but doesn't even get a single line during the latest Harrowing. Oh but Olaf gets plenty of time.

Illaoi is not even out yet but is already story relevant

Kindred being the literal reaper of Runeterra isn't just some rarely seen myth like Bard or Tahm Kench

Actually.......I don't think they are widely seen. RARELY you will get will get to see them, meet them even and then die much later. But most people who see Kindred (in the every day) don't get to talk about it. Kindred is omnipresent. Although you never heard them, or saw them, they were they're. Death happens every night in Bilgewater.

Would have been interesting to have Olaf meet Kindred though.

However, despite them not favoring the undead, I don't really think they would go around destroying the undead.

I'm confused. What's slipping by? Riot's only on its own clock. Nothing's slipping by.

Yeah, she's seen by everyone. Though it begs the question of how the story of lamb and wolf came to be since they're the last things you see, if at all considering Lamb's arrow can come from nowhere.

Or you don't see them because they're basically schrodinger's cat.

I think kindred is exactly the kind of character like tahm kench or bard, they're a folklore explanation of a natural aspect of life (like all depictions of death) they don't need to have plots or conflicts, they 're an omnipotent force of nature. They're the reaper, the thing that you only see when your time has come, no one during the Harrowing dies a worldly death, so there's no means for kindred to appear

I think Kindred is going to play a significant role in LoL's lore. Just gotta be patient.

On a semi-related note. I think that to Runeterrans Kindred is a myth. You have no proof of the m unless you die or have a near death experience ( which is rare). I think beings like Bard, Kindred, Tahm, Nagakebouros are viewed as gods by various individuals and groups around Runeterra. Like the gods of Earth, people choose to believe, others don't. As for who's right and what is the truth, only God knows. ( pun intended)
