Releasing skins for Old Champions

Riot, it's mildly insulting to see you guys release a skin like Omega Squad Teemo that has all the bells and whistles of a completely visually updated champion on him when his base skin is still as barbaric as it was when he was released about 6 years ago without having ever been touched. You guys should really focus on an across-the-board update for champions who are as old as him instead of giving us skins that make us feel like we need to buy them to have our champions feel like they're up to modern standards.

This isn't a complaint about new skins in general, just about releasing high end skins for dated champions, like Spirit Guard Udyr on Udyr who suffers from "attack of the polygons." New skins for champions like Elise, Lulu, even Caitlyn and Leona aren't a problem, because they look good (a little rusty, but good) and have a smoother looks and more finesse in their models that older champions like Teemo, Taric, and Evelynn could only dream of having. What skins like Omega Squad and Spirit Guard tell us is that Riot has no plans on touching these champions for years, because they want you to buy the VU they should have given these champs in the first place.
