Unlikely considering dark stars theoretically exist as a part of dark energy and stuff, so it'd probably fall under the category of a celestial entity of Aurelion Sol's scope, or as a kind of force unto itself, rather than something tied to the Void.

I wouldn't say so because dark matter and energy are critical parts of the universe as well, so such a being, while they may not operate in the same manner as other celestial entities, still plays their part. Evil's a concept we as humans put to things to understand them, but you can't really pin such concepts to states of existence and the beings that drive them in a sensible way. The fundamental forces of the universe contrast each other in the name of keeping existence together.

Dark =/= evil.

I'm giving a straight answer here because I can't think of a joke here.

But we're the one who decide who is evil or not. It changes on our perspective. I see something who tries to destroy Runeterra as evil, no matter what. No matter what is its purpose, its duty. Thousands of thousands innocent people die. I can't see it as neutral. That's why I descript the Cosmic Destroyer as evil, but not necessarily.

Other way, ofc there is no absolute evil and good. Someone who is good can be the evil on its enemy. I just wanted to say would it be good to see dark/evil celestial being that is equal of Aurelion Sol or even the greater as champion in this thread.

I suppose that's where we differ then, because from my perspective a great celestial being of dark energy and matter is simply the contrast to the other forces of existence, rather than evil. Sure it's not great for anything that'll ever live ever, but such things are necessary for the universe to operate at all. I'd imagine that's also how Bard would see such things; existence is all; the different forces are just the working gears.

I guess I just look at a great destroyer from a Hindu angle more than any other angle, since Shiva's the kind of dude who embodies death as the necessary end of things for them to then flow in to the next part of existence. I prefer to look at things from that kind of angle considering beings of that scale probably don't give a toss about such petty concepts as good and evil. A being of dark matter may be the enemy of beings like Aurelion Sol, but in the grand scheme of things so vast I feel it's just irrelevant to pin ideas of morality to them.

It also helps that Nagakabouros, who's seemingly above everybody else in the scope of the universe, is essentially Brahman, so the Hinduism line of thinking works.

EDIT: I just realised that we have three champions who actually kinda fit to the three major deities of Hinduism anyway: Aurelion Sol to Brahma, Bard to Vishnu and Kindred to Shiva. Not 100% perfect but I can see the parallels.

Dark Stars in the context of League, not reality

Like maybe a LoL dark star is a super-portal of the void, or the void version of the Death Star and Thresh is Darth Vader?

I think that the Dark Star and the Void are one and the same. that it is the conscious power of an entire different dimension trying to break through into Runeterra to take it over. Also Evelynn, Cho'gath, Kassadin, Kha'zix, Kog'maw, Rek'sai, and Malzahar are side effects of the void or excaped void champions. also all of the Dark Star champions and Vel'koz are sent out from the Void or the Dark Star to fight for it.

Dark Stars were basically Pre-relativistic Black Holes, without the extreme space-time distortion, which literally has nothing to do with Aurelion. Evil is a term, that's mainly attributed to someone with a negative moral compass, as in they know to do right, but they choose not to do it (intentionally making bad decisions = purpose related). Since you can't say someone has a negative moral compass, without showing them the existence of a positive moral compass first (can't judge someone by a rule that doesn't exist + it's heavily context related). Evil also usually serves as a foil and plot device as far as the role of a villain is concerned.

Well, anything that's subjected to the laws of time and space, will have to abide by the rules of cause and effect or reality will began to undo itself/tear itself apart (because of the laws that held it together). So, Aurelion probably already has a counterpart, but death is natural to temporal beings/objects (stars included), so even if he didn't have a counter-part, nothing in this universe lasts forever (Heat Death) "out of its own power" anyway.

If you want my opinion I think it's more like, An extremely powerful entity, turning creatures corrupted like for example Thresh Thresh and Varus Varus , while using them as pawns. Maybe we'll see a new champion in game, that summons creatures for abilities like Yorick Yorick Maybe that's too much to ask for. Maybe I'm completely wrong. who knows?

The quotes usually help if you want to get a bit of a picture:

If you know a thing or two about space, then you know that stars eventually die out. But AurelionSol could mean more than just gradual decay. He could hint to Dark Star Thresh consuming the cosmos. Dark Star Thresh : ''Stars culled of life, silent in the darkness..'' This is obvious. The way he says it ( go to http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Thresh/Background for the audio files. ) makes me think he loves to 'cull stars of life.'' And if you then look at AurelionSol 's quote: ''Darkness is my one true enemy.'', You can clearly see their colliding agenda's.

Dark star Thresh even has several taunts directly to AurelionSol : ''Have you ever seen a thousand stars alight in a shared dawn? We have, just before we snuffed them out!'' ''Not even a star can escape our grip.'' ''Join your precious stars in oblivion.''

I think that AurelionSol would feel deep hate for the heralds of the dark star. Also, for the people in the comments who think that Dark Star Thresh has affiliations with the void, he has quotes against enemy voidborn ( Velkoz RekSai Khazix KogMaw Chogath ) ''Pretenders to the throne of annihilation.'' ''We have looked into the void, and consumed it.''

These quotes hint at some connection, especially the last one. Maybe the Heralds of the Dark star have consumed the void and use it's power to annihilate the cosmos? Dark Star Thresh certainly does seem hateful towards the voidborn, probably because he wants to be the utter destroyer of worlds. He, maybe Varus, but no one else.
