Sappy?

Or at the very least Fan-Fiction-y?

How TF was going on about trying to save Graves and all that junk kind of had me like:

They built it up and then it felt like everything happend in an instant.

Like Act one, slowly building up to TF and Graves fight (good, but a little slow) Act two, graves chasing TF as GPs men surround them (very slow) Act Three TF and graves get back togther and MF kills GP(Lets tie everything up really fast and explain things in one sentence)

Still a better love story than Twilight.

As much as I liked it, I must admit it felt at least a little bit fan fiction-ish.

They never got real time to talk. And when they did run into eachother, they were both armed and ready to kill. It was only when they were disarmed and chained together for certain death that Graves actually calmed his mind enough to hear TF's explanation. Once Graves reasoned out what TF told him, he forgave him, especially after TF got set free yet risked his life to come and save Graves. It was well written.

While it did feel a bit fan-fictionish,I think it was an overall neat development and made TF a more likeable character.

I like that they've advanced the lore of these characters a bit. The whole 'vengeance' thing TF and Graves shared was kinda like a prologue, and now we've had an actual chapter in their story. Was it a little sappy? Maybe, but I thought it was satisfying enough.

I thought it was a decent play on the characters. If you have a character with the same lore for eons, sometimes to the point of being completely outdated and not even fitting with the rest of the lores (Singed Singed Singed ), having an update/advance in the lore is quite interesting. MF's lore was still dragging on to see what happens, as well as TF and Graves. I like what they did, makes the lores actually a bit lively.
