From a fellow artist, the model is not aesthetically pleasing compared to before and that further leads to Riot's missing the mark on her identity. The model itself is not technically "bad" (I'm sure it's opimized well, rigged well, has good topology) and it is a decent enough piece of work on its own. HOWEVER, it is not our Fiora. It does not look enough like Fiora's aesthetic that we recognize her for. As a result, the 3D in-game model does not translate well for us.

There are modders who can make a better model then the new Fiora from the ground up, that's what makes it so bad. If someone can do your job with relatively little training and better, then you shouldn't be paid to do that job.

MF's update was fine. At least we weren't presented with a completely new champion and told it was an old champion that didn't need an update when it came to MF.
