Seriously, the splash face is DIFFERENT, the model is just bad. A bad piece of work. Heavily unprofessional.

That's enough reason for me to call it bad, to be honest.
From a fellow artist, the model is not aesthetically pleasing compared to before and that further leads to Riot's missing the mark on her identity. The model itself is not technically "bad" (I'm sure it's opimized well, rigged well, has good topology) and it is a decent enough piece of work on its own. HOWEVER, it is not our Fiora. It does not look enough like Fiora's aesthetic that we recognize her for. As a result, the 3D in-game model does not translate well for us.
Ok then I challenge you to make a better splash art and/or model. If you can't do that then don't talk about how "unprofessional" it is.
I couldn't agree more. I love the new splash way more than the old, but it's definitely just a personal preference thing. I don't know how anyone could defend that in game face.
Even if I agreed with your statement (I don't), it's still perfectly valid to complain about an appeal to a taste if it isn't yours.
Honestly, it's all a matter of opinion. The splash art, the model, the kit.
The important part is that there's an overwhelming hatred/dislike for the new rework. Almost every comment I've seen has expressed a negative opinion about it.
Most people will say that the old splash was better :)
When updating a champion that didn't really need it, different is bad, especially in regards to the face and iconic things.
Haven't check for artist, but I am quite sure its the same person drawing the Valentine Ashe? Like a super larger forehead, up pointing nose, overall flatten face, lips too thick and a chin a bit big and outward.
