Nothing about Varus makes sense anymore... [detailed] Based on the PBE Updates
##So first refering to his new lore that was updated on the PBE servers.
##New Lore:
One of the ancient race of darkin, Varus was a deadly killer who loved to torment his foes, driving them almost to insanity before delivering the killing arrow. He was imprisoned at the end of the Darkin War, but escaped centuries later in the remade flesh of two Ionian hunters—they had unwittingly released him, cursed to bear the bow containing his bound essence. Varus now seeks out those who trapped him in order to enact his brutal vengeance, but the mortals' souls within him still resist every step of the way.
##If Riot decides to go with this lore, a lot of things won't make sense such as...
##His current voice lines.
- "Bloodshed carries a price." [Referring to the events in the previous lore]
- "I'm on borrowed time." [Not anymore, looking at the updated lore.]
##His Kit:
In lore he is described as a "deadly killer who loved to torment his foes, driving them almost to insanity before delivering the killing arrow".
-
None of his abilities considered to be an ability that can "torment his foes", he doesn't represent the "deadly killer" theme good enough either, in terms of gameplay wise and visually in looks of the actual character.
-
"driving them almost to insanity" This also doesn't seem quite fitting.
-
"before delivering the killing arrow" This is the only thing that actually refers so something he does, his Q - Piercing Arrow, how it delivers a killing blow.
##Other:
It was described that there are two "Ionian hunters" who released him "unwittingly" during the Darkin War are now "within him". That just simply doesn't make any sense, who are these two ionian hunters? I thought Darkin's are only able to control/maintain only one host but now he is able to keep the two ionian hunters within him.
