My problems with the SG-Skins:

Some skins on the group just feel like a lazily done after-thought. Like, two or three skins are really well made, and then it feels like they kinda ran out of motivation. When I first saw that Soraka was getting a skin I was really excited, but I'm not gonna swap from my beloved Celestine skin to this loveless knock-off. And I feel kinda the same with the Ezreal skin - comeon Riot, this was your big "tuxedo mask"-chance, and you blow it on... THAT?!

Generally there is now also the problem of color identities: Magical Girl shows usually put one color to a character, this is a tradition that stems from the japanese superhero-genre, and that makes the character easily identifiyable. It's not really a crime to run with a bigger palette of colors, but now we have several of them hogging different shades of green/blue, and both Ahri and Miss Fortune being "somewhat orange".

If you wanted the idea of two mirrored SG-squads, then why not take over the colors 1:1 with some minor variation? Right now it just looks like an unstructured mess, barely worthy of the genre it pays homage to - and that's also one of my biggest reasons I'm not gonna spend a penny on them.

And not to mention: Syndra should have gotten the skin with the VO, not Ahri. I mean, Ahri's VO is not perfectly fitting either, but I can imagine a playful fox in such a role, as opposed to the character that Syndra is.
