Potential Story: What if the Blood Moon Cult Was a Real Cult in the Story?

As more and more champions are added to the Blood Moon roster and since, in Shen's lore, it is confirmed that demons ARE actually part of Runeterra, could it be possible that the Blood Moon Cult is a real thing in Ionia? A cult obsessed with worshiping demons and spreading the word of itself. It would be a style of villain we have not yet seen in League of Legends while at the same time being an easy gateway for evil celestial beings to enter the lore since so far we have only seen Neutral or Good celestial beings. It would also give a villain that the Kinkou Order was fighting before Zed came along since before it was basically just "Oh, we fight bad people. Some notable ones, like Jhin, and others not as much." It would even fit in with the flow of the current lore. With the Kinkou Order having fallen, it would be the perfect time for the cult to arise from the shadows and bring great disharmony to the world. This would allow new champions that are of more evil nature to be made. Currently, the closest thing we have to an evil cultist group is the Void, but they are a different KIND of cult, being more about the Void and eldritch beings than the more standard form of cult with blood magic and such. The current Blood Moon skins could be a twisted future where the Blood Moon cult was the dominating power in the world and many of the current champions became a part of it at birth or sometime due to being kidnapped into it. I think introducing the Blood Moon Cult as a canon group of characters would open up many potential stories for Ionia and give Ionia more depth than it currently has. Right now, Ionia is basically just a bunch of broken people wanting revenge or trying to right their wrongs, aside from a few.

What do you guys think? Would you like to introduce demons, blood cultists, and such into League of Legends? I think it would be a rather refreshing new type of main villain personally.

Doubt that this will happen as it could easily cause confusion among the playerbase, since the bloodmoon-skinline is kinda building up its own skin-lore already(with TF being the boss of it,etc.).

Though I could imagine that the bloodmoon cult might be a myth within the game.

As for evil celestial beings: Well we've got at least one demon in the game already with TahmKench(Shaco and Swain/Beatrice might also be demons, but we don't know for sure) and honestly the term celestial is kinda wonky anyway,as we have no idea what defines a celestial(or if there is a clear definition at all)

Also as far as cultists go,we already have Malzahar, sure he might not worship demons, but alien horrors is just as good.

Stories related to the Blood Moon demons may still be part of canon, even though the champions taking the roles of those demons are not in their canon roles. So it could be semi-canon, where the stories and myths regarding the Blood Moon are part of the canon world, while the actual happenings and characters taking those roles are not, and are in their own story based alternate universe.

The blood moon is canon. It was an ancient cult but all the members died. Their project" blood moon" consisted of a sacrificing enough people to paint all the moon in blood. They inaugurated the ritual by killing one person each. Then they subjugated aurelion sol so he could take them to the moon. The rest is logic.....

if the blood moon cult is real, could it be connected (if not be the same entity) to the cabal that freed and is now helping Jhin?

Pls no it would be stretching it if every single object on the sky was praised as a god. We would have trillions of cults who might aswell be worshipping random stones they find in the mountains.
