Not as it seems

First off, good job on Sol, Riot! He sounds perfect.

Now then onto the theorizing side of this. Sol returning is not a "good" thing at least not for us. Hes been to this world before, probably when he made it, since he is capable of destroying and making anything in the stars above. So whats my point? Well...

He's not here to get rid of the darkness, hes here to get rid of us.

Now here me out, he doesn't hate us but for some one like him it would be much easier to rid of the problem as a whole rather than to deal with it. Why and try to save a planet when he can destroy it and make a new and enhanced one? So what kinda tipped me off that this may be the case?

His voice.

His snobby, stuck up voice. You wouldn't talk like that if you weren't above everything. But clearly he is, by moving a star around what seems to be a planet's surface and then crushing it in his bare hands. Hes grown tired of all this nonsense that Runeterra has made, constantly on the verge of destruction, its either Void this, Harrowing that, yadda yadda yadda.

So know we got a god who can literately just say, " Your annoying" and poof their gone coming to our world. Too "poof" it away. Man, I should of really checked the horoscope huh?

I still stick to the theory that Aurelion Sol is secretly Alagon The Observer, corrupted by Yogg'Saron

I CAN DREAM

I'm getting more of an "I'm bored. Amuse me, peasants" vibe.

He is like the Gilgamesh of league, so far.

Hmm. I would say he's actually a bit more malicious than I originally expected. Being that powerful, and maybe the most powerful yet (lore-wise), of course everything else would be below him (at least from his viewpoint.) So what I was expecting was just cold indifference. Sort of like a humans and ants relationship. Of course, to the human, ants mean nothing, and they'd kill them without a second thought if the ant(s) annoyed them. However, going off what Sol himself said, he wants to watch people bow down to him/grovel/etc. Now, this could just be attributed to wanting to have his ego stroked, but then he says... He loves it/finds it adorable when they beg for mercy. There's not much else to beg mercy for except if he would kill you. So I think he actually gets at least some sort of sadistic pleasure/rush from being able to use his immense power to assert his dominance over others.

The god star destroyer.... Can't wait for an underpowered Star/World killer. I love league of lurrr durr lore

if im guessing this right he only creates and destroys stars. the planets and life that is gained or destroyed as a result of said star being created/destroyed is of no concern to him, but it DOES amuses him.

i think this is more of his job. if Bard is involved then it would be to stop him, it would be to keep him alive if he is in danger of being destroyed by something or someone. just my guess

He did not make this world. He was the egg which bard took from bard mountain. As such he is pretty young. probably a teen, and could potentially explain his edgienes. Also his backstory and how his egg ended up on Valoran is not known so it may be more than just "failed world, destroy it all" ala Tttans.

I don't think he has such... solid motivation.

He probably has passed here and thought: "Oh look, ppl. I needed something fun after all this boredom"
