So... Renekton was trapped with Xerath for all those years in that crypt. After a while, the crocodile's mind snapped and he started hating his brother.

I figure that it was a few years of struggling against Xerath's "ultimate power," followed by a few years of tense conversation, followed by a few years of games (there's only so much tic-tac-toe you can play before you run out of wall), followed by a few years of Phreak-level puns...

Then, the straw that broke Renekton's mind.

"Hey, Renekton."

"What is it?"

"Knock-knock..."

(sigh) "Who's there?"

"Not ! Ha ha ha ha!"

"I'LL ####-ING KILL YOU, YOU BLUE BALL OF LIVING F###! YOU, YOUR MOM, AND YOUR LITTLE DOG, TOO!"
