It sounds like both of them helped Shen's father lock him away.

Is it wrong to think that I want to see a younger Shen and Zed, working together, inseparable as brothers, promoting peace?

It could happen. I mean, we did it with Graves and TF - the Bildgewater skins depict them back when they were younger and first in a gang together, fighting back to back.

Yup, though Shen and Zed's relationship is a bit more complicated than Tobias and Malcolm's. Zed and Shen also have more complicated personalities and responsibilities than TF and Graves (that's not a challenge when it comes to Graves especially, he's a to-the-point kind of fellow).

OMG Jaredan your right. Zed is swayed by his emotions (mostly anger now) like a naïve child. I guess he was a passionate figher? While Shen is emotionless, focused. . . (not much to say here)

Seeing how shen was pupil and offspring to thier master and zed was just an orphan who was taken under his wing. It's like battle vs the prince and the runt. Zed's probably jealous of Shen's position, it makes sense he wasn't fit to be Eye of twilight because his emotions would sway and taint his judgement but that was what Zed wanted to get that position and get recognition from Shen's father since he was basically a parentless child. Shen's still my fav but understanding Zed's character I feel sorry for him and a bit more love for him now :/

Now I want a cinematic of Jhin laying a trap for Zed under a fullmoon night, luring Zed onto the stage Jhin has set for Zed's final act. The insuring battle is a riveting dance through the shadows as Jhin uses traps to keep the master of shadows at bay, before finally lining up for the killing shot.

But as the bullet echoes through the night it only strikes a shimmering shield of energy as Shen appears at Zed's side, the two turning to face down the artist of death so obsessed with their end. And Jhin off course would only tilt his head, the mask hiding his expression, before taking aim again, the unannounced actor only being yet another fine and long waited stand-in in his play of death.

I would be very interested in seeing shens father as a future champion as well or is that whom Ao Shen is? I also feel katarinas father would be a cool champion as well

True. It might go from Kennen and Akali training under Shen's father to them training under Shen himself depending on how they do things. Going based off of his new short form in-client lore, he is definitely the new leader, and he's trying to stay neutral in all judgements he make.

Well, they were, at least implied by how the lore goes. Then Zed decided to pull a Sasuke because he couldn't deal with someone being better/picked over him.

Personally, I think Shen and Jhin are both pretty juicy characters, but I don't want you to think I'm talking the amount of story we produced for Burning Tides and Shadow and Fortune.

Yes, they are juicy. Specifically Shen and Zed's relationship with the 3rd party perspective of Jhin seems awesome. Speaking of Zed, you seem like you are purposefully leaving his name out. Will Zed not be getting his lore updated unto the new format like Shen's? I can understand why you might want Zed's story to come later.

I'm glad to hear that Zed's issues are more complex. He's always been an anti-hero in my eyes. I've always thought that he isn't necessarily evil. He felt betrayed by his master. His issues weren't with Shen, they were with his master. For all we know, deep down, he might still view Shen as a friend.

The main reason I love Zed is not just because he's my favorite character to play, but also because of his lore. You can call him evil if you want, but he only did what he did because he has a heart. Because he felt hurt. And too often nowadays you see heartless villains in stories. Zed is original, and I dearly hope the lore team doesn't disappoint on him.
