So will Karma's list of Updated Splash Arts come with an Update itself?

Fiora's update was rolled out one year ago, and it took one year for her to get all her splash arts updated.

Twitch is next with 5 splash arts. And given the art team took 1 full year to fully conceptualize how they wanted to present Nightraven and Royal Guard Fiora, I'm willing to bet that Twitches' update splash arts will take a good 4-8 months before its settled.

Karma has 3 splash arts that needs to be updated, and I'm guessing its a good 2.5 - 6 months.

So now, the main question is she going to receive an update along with the updated splash arts. Given the timeline we have now, we've got between 6 months and one full year to decide who comes next after Galio's update. I find it hard to believe that the team is just willing to roll out on updating Karma's splash arts, with Reav3 even mentioning the complaints were "loud & clear", but not even determining her gameplay update yet, because many months back when the subclass list was released, it was a general consensus that Karma was bland and overly generalized (even without resorting to subclass as a guideline or law).

When updating splash arts, typically Riot presents a champion in a manner that is unique and thematic to them. With no fans, little particles from abilities and a semi-complete dance to boot, how will Trad/Sun Goddess/Sakura Karma even be presented? It seems so impossible to even conceptualize an art now because to translate her abilities in to a form art itself is difficult. Plus, IF Karma's splash art is guaranteed to be next after Twitch, it's a good timing to get things clarified. Shouldn't Karma receive any accompanying gameplay update as well? So the next time some Karma players ask again, Riot doesn't have a reason to say they lacked time and will focus on other champions before getting back to her another round once more.

Annnnd, to add on, in terms of lore and voice, there are multiple paths to take Karma's story to, and expand her involvement in Ionia.

Uhm the way you say this makes it sound like you assume they worked on these splash arts nonstop since the VGUs,which is obviously not the case. They only really started to work on Fioras splash arts either after Ryzes update came out or after Sions splash arts were updated.

Twitch might get his splash art updates this year, depending on how fast the work on the warwick VGU goes(because they have to get the WW splash arts done before that comes out)

They once showed us the list of champs who are planned to get a VGU and Karma wasn't among those. She might be bland, but her visuals aren't that bad and her kit does work, other champs need the update much more than her. If anything Karma might get a gameplay update at some point.

Not really,I mean look at the new fiora splashes, fiora doesn't do any of her moves in them, yet the splash arts work just fine. Order of the lotus karma and warden karma also have no problems depicting karma without fans.

Karma doesn't need a gameplay or visual update. Or at least she needs it far less than many many other champs.

Karma Already had a huge VGU one of the biggest ones so far. Why would she need another? I really enjoy her kit. It makes you think on which ability you want to ult because they are all good depending on the problem

She's probably one of the best candidates for an Enchanters Roster Update. When they get to Enchanters (which is likely sometime within the next couple of years after Assassins), they'll most likely do some kind of work on her.

Those are just guesses though.

Well, Meddler did say there's a good chance Karma would get some work done on her either in an Enchanter update (years off), or an Ionian event. It would make sense for Riot to fully make sense of Karma before they update her splashes.

You are not entirely understanding how this is working... They started the new splashes after poppy. Fiora's took a few months(I believe she was next after Sion, which I think was in July or August?), not a year. There are not n(standing in for the amount of champs that need them) groups all working on their splashes separately, it is more like the champ-up groups where there is one or two dividing the work between them. If it was the first way, then why did Sion's splashes get done before Fiora's? He has more of them of a similar quality, so by all means his should of been done after hers.

Aren't you dismayed at how she is currently? So why would a even more rushed update make you happier than the more thought out, if divergent from her previous identity, update she had before(not to mention it isn't a crappy kit in and of itself. Most of the people I have heard complain about it were upset about it not fitting her, not that it does not work by itself)? Personally, if she is to be changed, I want it to be a well thought out one like Yorick or Taric, not some 3-4 month rush job. Do you want her to be the next Morde?
