Can I speak to a Rioter and get told WHY Janna's splash was replaced?

It didn't need to be Janna (in particular since she's a prostitute), but why not. But then. Why not sticking to that? Why make her face look like she has a flu? I can understand for the same reasons the fact of making her body go from sculpted to realistically average (and then again why Janna the prostitute rather than Cait the cop for example). But why give her the face of someone who is ill?

I'm baffled.

Your post hinges upon a flawed premise, as Janna is not a prostitute. In her lore it is mentioned that she was a thief, and the JoJ refers to a sex pic scandal regarding her (while noting that even after that she is well regarded by the League's conservative wing).

Janna being a prostitute is a meme in the LoL community probably sparked by her in-game joke, which, like other joke lines, is not necessarily in character.

As for Janna's face in the new splash, the artist probably wanted to fulfill the otherworldly appearance she is supposed to have per her own lore, making her gaunt and detached.

new janna looks like siv hd in the face, which creeps me out every time i see it, same bangs and everything creepy as hell.
