For me, I loved learning that Karthus has three older sisters because I do too. It’s small and doesn’t really add anything to the story but it definitely makes me like him more.

Jhin paused for a moment to study the woman’s cherubic face. It was round and perfectly symmetrical. A dull and predictable design. Removed, it would make a terrible mask.

Jhin's lore in general is full of little details about not only him, but how Zed and Shen operate. Measuring the distance between each other, and showing that distance, showing that just one moment could lead to death for any one of them. It is interesting.
Something I've been reminded of because of the whole Neeko debate; the protagonist of Janna's "Deep Breath" story is actually the first gay character in League's universe.

I'm not sure if it's still a thing but the idea that Heimer made Yi's Goggles was cool but looking at how they'll update the lore on both characters, I think they won't be connected anymore.

That Nami was considered too stubborn, reckless, and impulsive to be the Tidecaller, but when the first guy failed and no one else would go after him she goes and does the job and gets the title anyways. GET IT MERGIRL!

There is absolutely no reason for it, but I love it.
