What Swain should remain, a Demon, not a damn vastaya.
If he has to be a vastaya then make it that raven vastaya are demonic and have connections to a demonic chaos realm or something.
Then we can have best of both worlds.
Cause this Vastaya shit seems a little too druidy/naturey to me and not enough Dark Arch Warlocky.

No, that is not his thematic... his thematic is "Bird Tactician", being a "demon" is just a joke that he made and it has never been confirmed that he is an actual demon (I mean, look at Shaco, he was called "Demon Jester" but he never was a demon)

The Tzeench Chaos Lords are omniscient and so you can never beat them in any tactical strategy or ever kill them or slight them in any way because they are 100 steps ahead of you before you think it.
They usually take the form of frail and mysterious old men no one knows anything about who look weak, fragile and near death.
But if ever confronted in direct combat they show their true powerful raven form and command magic which is on a near god-like level and decimate their enemies whilst laughing off any mortal attempts to harm them.
That is where he gets his master tactician title from (the omniscience thing) the mystery of his lore, his old weak man appearance, and true super powerful bruiser demon form ult upon real combat.

So what? Being based on something it doesnt mean that he IS that. You are asking to "keep Swain a demon" when it was never said in the actual lore that he is one (without counting a JOKE that can be taken seriously because is a JOKE).
I know nothing about warhammer, but the main similarity between Swain and Tzeench are masters in making plans ahead in order to get what they want... that is what i mean by "Tactician" and THAT is the theme of Swain, not being a demon.
Also, you have to consider that Swain must be human, since he was created before the retcon... and before the retcon Noxus was a City State that hated non-humans and all the champions from Noxus were at least part human. And he wont be Vastaya in the new lore (at least not fully) since Rakan doesnt call him "Vastaya", he only says that Swain has Vastaya blood... so dont jump into conclussions.
((Oh, also: Yes, Riot is keeping in mind the whole Tzeench thing because they made a post about him recently and they said that with the VGU he will be "100 steps ahead"... Just like you said about the bird demons of Warhammer))

But no, he is not confirmed to be part demon, that is just a theory that was never confirmed in the lore. Again: A joke doesn't count as proof.

Whyte Lyon1 votesSince the official response to Rakan's quote was that Vastaya magic may or may not be canon because the taunt was recorded before Swain rework was green-light. I have read the Swain mini-bio update for the client and it fails to tease dark Vastaya magic is his source of power. Although I am aware it says Swain was in Ionia when he was crippled, so there is room for the possibility.
But I'd approach the taunt with pessimism for now and wait until more confirmation either way. Especially before going around pretending like it is confirmed.
