The new announcer is just... "meh", especially when compared to the one of the Bilgewater event

And I can pinpoint exactly why: it lacks enthusiasm. Usually the normal announcer is supposed to be completly neutral, for the sake of clarity save for when your team scores a pentakill or something. However, the Bilgewater announcer was a lot more lively. Even if it was in a slightly clicheed YARR HARR SEND THEM TO THE FISHES kinda way, it had a lively and motivating feel to it.

This announcer however sounds like a bored bureocrat who sent his voice through a "dark & edgy" filter. Thank god I just found out that you can disable it...
