Will you guys be making Gatekeeper Galio a legit, modern 1820 skin worthy of sitting beside Star Guardian Jinx, Omega Squad Teemo, and Mecha Zero Sion? I feel like you guys kinds half-assed bringing Firefighter Tristana up to par (only adding particles), and I personally love Gatekeeper Galio and want it to be a lot better than what it is now.

I wouldn't expect it to be as big as a modern legendary skin as those take a insane amount of time to make, and wouldn't really be worth delaying the Galio VGU by that long. It will however be much more legendary then Firefighter Tristana. It will have everything that current Gatekeeper has (Unique VO, Anims, FX.) He will have a similar number of VO lines that a modern legendary has though and whatever else extra we can squeeze in.

But seriously, I'm looking forward to seeing what Riot do with Galio. Yorick seemed lackluster until I saw his spotlight, and if you can make an unappealing champ look awesome one time, I'm sure you can do it again. This skin will be the icing on the cake.

RiotReav33 votesAs with all our VGUs, we build the champion from scratch as if it were a new champion. This means that none of the old skin models work anymore. which means that we have to build all the skins from scratch as well.

Idgi though, if Firefighter Tristana is no where near the quality of current legendary skins then why is the price still the same?

Also, in Galio´s case, they have more resources to do so, as tristanas case were smaller gameplay changes, mostly on the visual side.

Well, Firefighter isn't even 1350, as it didn't get any animations. It's at most a 975 skin.
Lùmen1 votesOh, you didn't know? That skin was 1820 once.. The Magnificent Twisted Fate is still 1820 RP as of today, it's just that Riot did not address it yet. Many weird, nothing special-skins were overpriced for pretty much no reason several years ago. I dunno, ask Riot.

Church7381 votes(Ill be honest i didn't read everything here so if this is a repeat my bad) but Galio's E "Justice Punch" needs to be changed to read "Judgement Punch"....only real complaint. Love the VO on the new Gatekeeper Galio skin! I would of like to seen different animations and stuff but he has some pretty good spam.
