So it's been 1281 days now since Cass received a skin.

Besides Yorick and Urgot (the biggest candidates for a relaunch), the only other champions who've been waiting this long for a new skin to come out are Swain and Shen.

The ninja already received a complete VU for all of his skins during his last update and Swain supposedly is up for a complete relaunch. That leaves Cass as the one and only champion who's actually waiting for a new skin to come out.

What reason could there be that she hasn't seen any love these past months since her last rework happened? It didn't even affect her visuals, it actually downgraded them (no custom-particles anymore) while she's still stuck with animations and a basemodel from 2010.

The only thing she received back in 2014 was a texture-update and a new voiceover, beyond that she remained simply incomplete. Heck, even her lore-entry was reduced to 3-4 lines of text and never touched again.

Could there be a VU or relaunch in the works for her? Or how else would you explain this complete lack of skins and lore related updates for her?

AW HELL NO. The Shen visual update was left half finished.

So yeh Cassio might need a skin, but so does Shen. He also needs to be looked at and fixed. Please raise awareness for our Lord and Saviour, the Master Ninja Shen.

He's gonna be seen in every game at worlds, and he wont have an animation for his w and will always look like a chained dog with his passive. Cmon guys, lets show some love for Shen. Maybe they'll step in and finish what they started.

She sheds out of her skin too quickly nowadays for Riot to get a proper fitting.

As a Kennen main who waited for nearly 4 years for a new skin, I can sympathize with this.

At least Cass got her update out of the way. Hopefully she, Shen and others receive a new skin full of great animations and particles real soon!

I'm sorry but Eve is at the top of the list after Galio of course... Urgot is under that according to Riot. So the ugliest one has to wait its turn xD

I think Cass is getting this year's "Boss" skin or something for Harrowing/Snowdown.

Cass can have/be in a skin when Kled gets a Shurima skin... then he can ride her into battle (instead of Skaarl).

Sorry, you lost me there. You're right. Swain is up for a relaunch. But saying that he's not waiting for a skin is complete nonsense with a promise from Riot three years ago that a certain skin would be made.

Make Noxus great again.

Give us Dragon Master Swain.

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if Riot's planning on doing a Noxus lore event with Swain's rework rolling out, including Cass.

Well she was part of the mage rework,so the skin team likely avoided making a skin for her until her rework came out(and it was sure that they don't need to rework her again) and if they work on a more complex skin,then it likely can take a few months to get that skin finished.(especially if there are problems during development,Moon princess Diana was at one point pretty much scrapped and completely rebuilt during its development)
