What if the PROJECT skin line exists because Viktor won his war with Jayce?

So I was doing some work on a new image for my Full Metal Karthus concept and part of which is removing the Backgrounds from all the robot skin splashes, and I noticed that in Kat's Project splash I could see Vel'koz in the background. That got me thinking: What if the PROJECT initiative exists because that world has become the full fruition of Viktor's Glorious Evolution? Think about it a second.

The city itself is a Dystopic futuristic city
Most of the Humans have been given cybernetic enhancements/ entirely new robotic bodies
The Project Initiative seems to coincide with the Battlecast universe (and by association, Full Metal an Mecha)

I'm just saying it's not entirely impossible that the reason the PROJECT initiative exists because Viktor had become (Pun slightly intended) the Victor.

Who says that Battlecast has anything to do with Jayce? Maybe Viktor's Battlecast army is built to take down a far more serious threat, a world ending apocalypse that only engine of destruction wrought from steel can conquer.

Battlecast, to me, leans more towards military application. There is no subtlety in that the Battlecast line is explicitly designed for combat, hence the plethora of weaponry at their disposal. They are autonomous weapon platforms, armed with lasers, missiles, mines, rockets.

PROJECT on the other hand screams of corporate espionage. They are given weaponry that isn't suitable for conventional warfare, but very efficient for close-quarters combat in confined spaces, such as an urban environment. They are augmented with technology that dabbles in the fringe of scientific understanding; Zed and Katarina's manipulation of space to teleport and Ekko's influence on the Fourth Dimension are good examples. Unreliable, but effective when they work.

Both skin lines are facets of the same reality.

There's always the chance the good guy loses to the villain for once. It's happened before

As far as I know, here's the timeline.

Viktor creates the Battlecast robots for [insert villainous diabolical plan here].

Heimer and some other people (probably Jayce too) create the Mechas to counter them.

Viktor wins by hacking Mecha-Xer0 Sion. Probably not why he wins, but he wins in the end.

Viktor creates new cybernetically enhanced soldiers-- PROJECT Overdrive and Disruption. Perhaps used as a trump card to beat Jayce/Heimer? Being that they're efficient killers with magic/tech enhanced powers.

PROJECT Zed and Katarina remain as his loyal puppets.

The others (not sure about Yasuo, but maybe him too) rebel, thus launching the Rebellion (Ashe, Ekko, Leona, Fiora, Yi, Lucian).

I'm assuming Viktor's main Battlecast line was mass-produced, considering that the Vel'Koz in PROJECT: Kat's splash-art could be monitoring the skies sort of like the blimps in Batman's Gotham City. Or that Vel'Koz could be the actual Battlecast Vel'Koz, just with probable upgrades.

Keep in mind that Viktor only controls Ionia, called Neo-Ionia in the PROJECT timeline, and probably Zaun. Not confirmed if Piltover, but if he won against Jayce, Piltover too.

This is as far as we've gotten in terms of information. Then there's a huge gap. The Program skins are part of the timeline, but in the distant future (probably a good 75 years in the future), as they are purely robotic, rather than cybernetically enhanced like the PROJECT skins. It's unclear if Pulsefire is connected, or part of it's own universe, but in the event that it IS connected, it'd have to be at least 100-200 years in the future, based on the technology involved.

So there's this HUGE chunk of history missing from where we are with the current PROJECT skins to the Program skins. It's not confirmed whether or not the Rebellion overthrew Viktor's reign.

What we do know about the Program skins are that they could be concurrent with the Battlecast timeline. Camille calls the mechas outdated and inferior technology, while she releentlessly hunts the PROJECTs because they have flawed programming. What we CAN assume from this is that the Program skins are the AI programs in this technological future. They exist in the internet, they are everywhere and they monitor the world and keep the machinery running and self-improving. Lissandra is the central processor, the OS, the heart of the world AI, while Soraka is the repair protocol, in charge of making sure the programs keep functioning as intended. Camille is the security protocol, purging corrupted files from the system and defending against threats to the mainframe.

Connecting with this, the mechas are the original prototype robots, who's own AI doesn't boot into the main system, hence why Camille calls them obsolete, but has an odd, tiny bit of respect or at least tolerance for them. The PROJECTs, alternatively, she sees as having been corrupted due to not being full machines. They are a direct threat to the computer and machine overlords, and she's seeking to eliminate them so that they can't corrupt other programs, PROJECTs, or machines in general. At this point, we don't know who's truly in charge anymore. Victor could be on the edge of being obsolete, and the AIs may be starting to take full control, Terminator style. If this is the case, this would explain why Pulsefire Ezreal and Caitlyn use technology that resembles the Programs, and also explain why Ezreal needed to escape his time to prevent Victor from ushering in the robopocalypse.
