Ao Shin Needs Something

Poor Ao Shin. The longer time goes on, the more concerned I grow for him. I'm afraid of him being Omen'd at this point, if you know what that insinuates. Whether it's a matter of technology catching up with his concept or a truly inspired kit coming along doesn't matter that much. I mean, you veteran Leaguers had to wait for the technology to come along for Dunkmaster Darius and are still waiting on Dragonmaster Swain (though I suspect that may be postponed until he gets a visual rework). I don't think I have the patience to wait for the League's official dragon.

That being said, there are some things I'd love to see on Ao Shin, if he's still even in development, and would be willing to wait for them to implemented. If he's going to be an Oriental Dragon and thus fly without needing wings, he should appear as if he's swimming through the air. Vel'Koz accomplishes this somewhat in his haste animation; instead of floating in a vacuum as per normal, Vel streamlines himself like he's swimming. Ao Shin deserves that much at least. Eastern dragons are closely tied to water, and I think only through graceful movement can wingless flight look convincing and cool.

If the matter is that Ao Shin's hitbox would be weird, I refer to Rek'Sai. She has a slighter longer side profile than head-on, and it works. Then again, I will allow that since she's an original creature, her proportions can't look wrong. Ao Shin would be susceptible to that.
