Holy shit, skins that change the design? Who knew!

Say it with me, kids.

SKINS. ARE. NOT. CANON.

Unless specifically stated otherwise for some reason or another by Riot.

Skins aren't canon

Wow, it's like skins alter the identity of champions or something!

Skins do not change a champion's core identity--they take a champion's identity and apply it to an alternate universe. Kayle is still Kayle whether she's an angel, a cop, steampunk, a dog, Obama, or anything else.

Just like how Sona is mute in every single skin she has.

Y'all need to fix your arguments if you're gonna complain about something like Kayle not having armor, Guess what? She has wings in every skin. THAT is her identity--an angel. Armor is not what defines her.

Skins aren't reflective of the character's identity.

Judgement Kayle has pauldrons, boot armor and lower face protection.

Aether Wing Kayle has probably the thickest armor out of all her skins, and is also much more armored than new Kayle can ever hope to be.

Riot Kayle has a helmet, knee and shin guards, pauldrons and chest kevlar

PentaKayle has pauldrons, armored shirt and armored boots.

Inquisitor is the only exception here. And even in that skin, she has pauldrons.
