You know what's crazy?
A good majority of the community thinks the old lore is still a thing.
From YouTube to Facebook Twitter and even on some forum sections not here. They truly believe the old lore exists.how...

Because they be lazy to read the lore when it comes out, when Rioters talk about it, plus when its on the wiki....and some of them are intentionally refusing to listen to reason and live in their old lore world.
The old campy lore > new lore
New lore comes in bursts, old lore was consistently released. If you miss the new lore bursts, you remember what you know of the old consistent stuff
"You know what's crazy?" You are! ^_^ Ya!
"A good majority of the community thinks the old lore is still a thing." If you think about it, then this isn't surprising. A lot of people look to various older sections of lore as so much retcon has happened. Combining bits and pieces of lore, which you end up with head canon that is comprised mostly of old lore, people post their thoughts and ideas of what Valoran and all aspects of it are. Head canon is really the only safe way to approach Riot's lore any longer. I don't trust them to not dismiss or throw out something after it has been written. Period.
Yeah Riot really needs to make the retcon more clear.
They need to change the champs whose lore is still tied to the IoW(
,etc.) and make the new lore more accessible(it happens really often that people complain about the short lores without knowing that many of the champs with short lores already got their full lores on the official homepage)
