The only real "Bad Guys" are the and the Void. The **Void wishes to consume and destroy Valoran as a whole. Everyone else besides the Void **are just different people with different reasons and views for what they do (with the acceptation of champions from the shadow isles).
You doubt the importance of Brazil? He is essentially leading the Shadow Isles, he has his own successful band, he gets the girl ( ) with the biggest rack sweetest personality, he is numero uno and everyone knows it, and in LCS he is either banned or he wins.

There are loads of main characters with different stories clashing. It's not one story, but a world of stories that sometimes intermingle and sometimes never cross each other.
At least that's how I see it.
