First image of Taliyah we ever got. I don't know man that looks pretty feminine. Skirt looking thing, slim figure, heck even the name Taliyah is pretty suggestive of a girl.

Were you not around for the hundreds of "Taliyah's nose and eyebrows are ugly" threads after her splash was revealed? Ripping on her appearance for not looking "feminine enough" has become a trolling activity by now.

The only reason this thread was posted was to rustle jimmies.

I'm dead serious - I legitimately thought Taliyah was a dude. If they adjusted her facial features a bit, or gave her longer hair, she'd be easier to identify as a woman.

I think looking ugly is detrimental for any playable video game character. Many formerly hideous League characters have been updated to look less hideous, because people generally avoid playing them unless they are broken.

Just change her facial features and give her longer hair, and Taliyah will be fine.

Being sexy and attractive isnt part of Taliyah's character, but she isnt ugly by any means. She's just an average girl of average looks. Conforming her to the other 50 (throwing some random number out my ass) hot, sexy and attractive female characters only makes her less relevant and she can stand waaay out more.

If we played a who's who of LoL and someone asked "That hot girl of League" we'd be here all day making guesses. If someone asked "That average looking girl of League" pretty much the first guess if not second would be Taliyah. Standing out is better than just being another barbie on the shelf, imo.

Sure, Taliyah isnt going to replace Kat as a 'box art' character nor will she bring over any players from Scarlet Blade [or insert any generic online game with titties] but making a specifically average looking video game female is really uncommon and all the props to Riot for it.

  1. We've already had plenty of "average" or "unique" women, especially with recent champion releases, not to mention that any old female character gets a breast reduction with a VU or splash update. (Examples: Ahri, Sona, Evelynn)

  2. No one is asking g her to be "sexy", just to not look like a dude.

What? It's true. He didn't know. And to confirm I skimmed past the "Taliyah looks bad/male" threads because I was sure it'd be filled with unnecessary SJWshit (which this board actually has at times, funnily enough).
