Unless you love Azir or Miss Fortune, there is probably a strong chance you are starting to get worried that the amount of new champs are appearing much faster than lore events. This is kind of depressing.
Blue Moon Wolf11 votesI don't think that's all that accurate. Sure the lore updates are slow, but multiple champs are be involved in a single lore event at the same time. Blidgewater alone had TF, Graves, GP and MF, then shortly after had a new story involving Thresh, Illoai, MF, Lucian, GP, Olaf and maybe more, especially if you count the solo updates champs got for that event. Some of those champs like Olaf hardly even had a real reason to be there but were still added for one reason or another. Then there are champs like 
who add new stuff for other champs like in this case

Then from the sounds of things Riot is planning a MASSIVE lore event that will likely involve multiple places at once, meaning content for a lot of champs.
So even though a new champ is technically coming out every 2 months (give or take depending on their new system) and lore events were taking 3-4, Lore events still cover quite a few champs at once and Honestly even this year there has been more lore updates then champ releases as a whole (Demacia event, Vastayan update, Piltover/Zaun to name a few). I believe once Riot gets through updating all the champs base lores, we will see more varied events covering many more champs as they will have the time to focus on larger stories since there will be no more champs who need to be retconned into the current lore.

Some champs would be hard to fit into a story line but pretty much everyone can still contribute. So far all of the lore events are area based where a lot of characters share the spotlight and interact with each other. Shurima w/

it would be kind of hard to write other people in so some characters are going to just naturally get more lore spotlight. and 
have a story where they fight each other but other then just hunting stuff what else does Gnar plan on accomplishing? Plus how do you write a good story with champs like

? They can't really talk or interact with other people so how can they have major story contributions? Fiddle could have a thriller style story, which could be cool by itself, but how do you possibly connect that to major events around Runeterra? How would his character have any kind of influence on the other champs?
However I think there is a TON of stuff that can still be done in the Lore to include pretty much everyone and make for really good stories! Right now in the lore they actually have quite a bit of stuff set up that could include so many characters.
My favorite open story line is

], is on his way to Zaun. And because Piltover is so close to Zaun, In Zaun he could possibly interact w/ 
as well as and if they have shown up to Piltover yet. Jhin said he has something big planned but we still don't know exactly what it is or who is going to get caught up in it.
The other big one that could include pretty much any character if the story team tried hard enough is the void invasion. Right now Targon as well as others are setting up against the void so 
all have potential. And the void's main forces could choose anywhere to attack. They could attack Ionia and get 
in the mix. Or just as easily go after the Frejlord and we could see any of these champs:

Demacia vs. Noxus still has a ton of stuff it can do with: 
as well. So I think a lot of champs can be included when they do have the next lore events and including a ton of characters could easily catch up and involve everyone in some kind of big event.
TLDR: Most champs definitely have story potential and only a select few don't. Riot writes stories that include entire areas with multiple characters interacting with each other so we could definitely catch up and include mostly everyone in a couple major story arcs.

If someone makes a character with no potential of advancing in their development from their previous position, then they are ultimately not designed properly. Every character, every champion, has to to move from status A to B, otherwise whats the point of even having them exist. This is why League of Legends, the very MOBA this lore originated from, has become obsolote as the main center from which to expand this lore, and as such Riot need sto focus on creating a future game or media that will change that.
You can only go far with a freemium MOBA game, there are so many better options to fix the lack of lore.

GreenLore3 votesWe can have lore that explores who he is,where he came from,what he wants to do. And in general he is meant to get a VGU,so he might actually change drastically later on.
Yrzen3 votesWe can explore who he is, but ultimately we already know who he is: He's a spikeball armadillo. His lore jokes about how he's pretty much just an armadillo monster despite what people in-universe regard him as, invoking a sense of irony. He came from Shurima. He exists for some reason that presumably has no impact on his future and thus isn't important. What he wants to do doesn't seem relevant, as he currently has no complex motivations driving him, as that would detract from being ordinary.
He's a character whose appeal lies in his simplicity and mundane ambiguity. (As opposed to mysterious ambiguity which is ironically mundane in fantasy settings) He doesn't really need to be embellished upon more than he already is, as doing so would detract from his identity. They took away the less serious parts of his lore (that he went on a date with a cactus) as a matter of keeping up the suspension of disbelief and added shades of mystique and heroism, (like other champions) but then parodies it by saying "At least one tribesman claims Rammus was simply sleeprolling."
Rammus embodies his voice line: "ok." He's just an armadillo monster. I remember, after his lore update was announced, that there were threads begging Riot not to give him a tragic backstory or go over the top on anything, because he was a simplistic character by design and personality. I think it's a good thing in terms of his character, overall.

Also I've seen a lot of posts actually that say that it'd be perfect if Rammus were a demigod(after all why would the demigods be exclusive to the freljord if they are a natural species?) And lets be honest here,Riot did already several lore rewrites that were not popular with the fans(or at least unexpected)

I really like the lore of league, and I wish that there could be some sort of serialized story format that would make sure we got to see more lore for more champions. I know not enough people are invested in the lore, and that the quality would decrease with the higher frequency, but it's sort of sad knowing that I probably won't see Nautilus change as a character or know what wukong will do in reaction to xayah and rakan's ideals or see bard interact with someone like ivern or even yasuo. At the current rate of story building that stuff wouldn't come out until I'm 30
