Thresh/Background

So I noticed everybody's favorite chain warden Thresh is enemies with Lucian and is threatened when they are in proximity. But there is no reciprocating quotes for Thresh. Now for those of you who don't know lore, Thresh stole the soul of Lucian's wife Senna and keeps her soul to torture for his amusement (and the suffering of Lucian). I think we need quotes for Thresh when he interacts with Lucian. A few ideas I have are as follows

Thresh lands Death Sentence on a Lucian Come to her

Thresh Throws his Lantern near an Enemy Lucian Senna Screams For Help (Audible only to Lucian)

Thresh Throws his Lantern near an Ally Lucian Take Her Hand

Thresh Dances within view of Lucian Releases Senna soul and forces her to dance like a puppet on chains

Thresh Taunts while Lucian can't see Thresh Come and Find her, Purifier (Audible globally only to Lucian)

I really want Lucian and Thresh to have more bad blood between them simply because of how popular Lucian/Thresh bot lane is. I also love thresh and all the little extra things like these. Mostly I am sad because Lucian/Thresh dialogue is one way.

I mean would it be insulting to Lucian or Senna if Quinn /danced in front of Senna who is stuck in lantern?

He is very very fun to play....

The only thing that bugs me, the thing that i pick leona over him is: The ADC and the stupid lantern.... Like... right click man!

I had a ADC that didn't grab the lantern I did the whole combo (Q Lanterner Q Auto Flay Auto Box Auto Q) and he stood in the lantern shield bubble and didn't take it item 3070

BecauseThresh doesn't care, this probably isn't the first time he's taken a soul and had someone come crying about it.

He's probably more like, "Oh you want this soul back? Get in line."

I disagree, Thresh seems very much like one to toy and torment the minds of those he's hurt, in hopes he can capture their souls as well, so if he had the opportunity to flaunt the fact that he captured Senna's soul to Lucian, he'd take it. He wants to make him angry, to slowly break his mind, if he can.

Exactly my point. When he's found his mark, he devotes himself to bringing them down and destroying any semblance of sanity they had, he enjoys it. He wouldn't just disregard Lucian as another random dingus, I don't think.

Right, torturing is all about dragging it out and letting him suffer just a little longer. Actually it would be great if as A hidden Passive, Lucian would drop a soul but Thresh wouldn't collect it so they would be kept apart. But Thresh would totally torture Lucian using his wife to mock him and get him angry

Very nice idea. Upvoted. I have one question though. What if I was playing Quinn and went in front of thresh's lantern and hit taunt and dance, would that also cause senna to react?

No senna would come out and dance when thresh dances in view of Lucian instead of thresh dancing. Also thresh would globally taunt only audible to Lucian when he can't see Thresh and have other comments only audible to Lucian when he lands death Sentence or gets a nearby lantern. If this was a thing i would be dropping lanterns on top of the enemy Lucian in lane just to make the screaming from Senna tilt him super hard.

And what if your ally Quinn dances in front of your lantern and senna? Would that tilt lucian or senna?

I just like the idea of Lucian hearing his wife scream every time he takes a lantern to escape or thresh puppet dancing

It's like this for every champion Jhin straight up insults TAHM KENCH but because hes an older champion he doesn't say anything back even knowing the vast vocabulary he has.

This has been proposed in the past, and RIOT didn't do it.

So no matter how much of a good idea this is (which is it), it probably won't happen.

I would love it. I don't care if it lands me in a bad match up, I would be Thresh into a Lucian lane every time. I want to feel like the Villain. I want to be the Green Goblin to Lucian's Spider-man.

Imagine the tilt inducing anger that would result from the enemy Lucian having a 30 second audio clip of a ghastly scream every time he walks inside of a lantern from and enemy thresh. SOOOOOO MUCH TILTING

i just wish they did what they did when the shurima event happend (when ascension was first introduced) and they straight up just gave shuriman origin champions more quotes like Cassiopeia Sivir Renekton
