I'm sorry? HotS has 3 FRANCHISES worth of lore. Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, it has metric shit tonnes of it to draw from. Warcraft has 4 games, each having its own expansions, Starcraft has 2 games with multiple expansions, Diablo has 3 games with multiple expansions. All those series also have books, comics and other forms of story outside of the games.
You're asking narrative how they're losing to that?
Have you seen HoTS? Its a moba with practically no gameplay, a game that boring will never compete with LoL or even Dota.

Nah, I just tried some heroes of the storm... and in terms of lore I'm massively disappointed from that game. "Here, this is a demon hunter. She loves hutning demons." That's it. Full lore. Sounds awefully familiar in terms of shortness, no? ^^
